Frequently asked questions.

To what ages groups can the Babybit learning programme be applied?

Babybit can be applied between approximately four months and six years of age. The elements of our programme are mutually related - the volumes follow a sequential order. Therefore, irrespective of the age of the child, we always begin with the first volume, followed by the second, the third and, finally, the fourth.

How is Babybit different from other learning DVDs?

The key difference is that Babybit provides benefits for the development of the child's brain. It is NOT just an entertaining FILM - it is a perfectly structured early-learning programme with clear objectives and scientifically proven results.

Why does Babybit seem expensive?

There is no better investment in the future than in the education of our children. Each Babybit DVD covers 15 weeks of the programme - 225 sessions that are all different. The four DVDs (Volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4) provide parents with more than a year (60 weeks) of the early-stimulation programme. Can you imagine the number of BITS on card that would be needed to cover a year of programming?!

Of course, there are other DVDs and CDs that are cheaper. But they don't last as long and they are not as good or as effective as Babybit. So, in terms of value for money, Babybit is one of the best,

How many sessions should I do a day?

3 sessions a day are necessary to carry out the programme properly.

How many bits will my child have seen when he has completed the first volume of babybit early learning?

When you finish the programme, your child will have enjoyed almost 13,000 bits - 12,780 bits, to be precise.

What happens if I can't see all of a day's sessions?

It is advisable to see them all, as this ensures correct learning. If it is impossible one day, there is no problem, but more effort should be made on the next day.

What happens if my child gets distracted while watching the programme and doesn't look at it directly?

This may happen at the beginning until the child gets used to the programme. If he or she is very distracted, it is advisable to stop and do it at another time when he or she is calmer.

Can I show a session to several children at the same time?

Yes, this programme can be used with several children at the same time.

What will happen when my child goes to school? Will he or she be confused or bored?

No, as he/she will have a great deal of capacity, ability and desire to learn new things. He/she will also enjoy mixing with other children.

My child wants to see more after each session. Is this advisable?

The programme is prepared with the sessions necessary for correct learning. They should therefore be dissuaded, otherwise they may get bored.

Is it good to reward the child after each session?

After each session, it is advisable to congratulate, hug and express all our love for our child as a reward. As a result, learning is reinforced, and a pleasant and appropriate atmosphere is created.

How should I organise the sessions if I want my child to complete the babybit programme in several languages?

It would be advisable to stagger the start of each programme by a few weeks, i.e. start first with the mother tongue and then start another language after 3 weeks.

What is the maximum number of languages advisable for learning simultaneously?

This question is very personal and the decision is up to the parents. However, we must say that there is no limit, as the child's brain is able to learn any language without any difficulty. There are cases of children who learn up to 6 languages at the same time perfectly.

Do I need a computer to be able to follow the babybit programme?

No, babybit is provided on DVDs which can be viewed using a DVD player and television. In this way, children can watch the sessions in the same place they watch their favourite cartoons.

Can I build the bits myself?

Of course. This can be done by using white pieces of card and sticking images, words, numbers, equations etc on them. The main disadvantage is that it is a long and expensive process. With babybit, you will be able to enjoy more time with your child, as it provides a complete early learning program.

Are there other early learning programmes on the market based on the bits method?

Yes, there are reading programmes, mathematics programmes and encyclopaedic programmes on the market, made from cardboard (card) and on CD-ROM. These programmes are sold separately, and never form a perfectly structured, unique and overall programme. That is their main disadvantage.
